Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shift, 8 hours per day

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for home health patients
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for conditions like CVA and aphasia
Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and exercises

Qualifications

Active Kentucky Speech-Language Pathology license (must be in hand at submission)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
Home health experience required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable traveling across a large 11-county territory
Ability to manage a caseload of 6 patients per day
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient in using provided phone and tablet for documentation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
