Sonographer - General and OBGYN

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable days, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Includes weekend and holiday on-call as needed.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general and OBGYN ultrasound examinations
Assist with vascular procedures, drains, and biopsies
Operate Phillips ultrasound equipment and ensure accurate imaging
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team
Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures

Qualifications

Active RDMS certification in general or OBGYN
Current BLS certification
Experience with ultrasound procedures is a must
Preferred: RVT or RDCS certification
Ability to work variable shifts and take on-call duties

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics and anatomy
Proficient in EPIC and PACS systems
Excellent patient communication and care skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
