Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up assessments
Perform communication evaluations and implement treatment plans
Administer standardized tests in an outpatient setting
Manage a caseload of 7-8 patients daily in outpatient or a mix of outpatient and inpatient
Collaborate with rehab aides and the multidisciplinary team
Float between St. Francis, St. Clare, and St. Anthony facilities as needed

Qualifications

Active SLP license in Washington State
CCC-SLP credential required
Current BLS certification
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and communication assessments
Independence in outpatient standardized test administration
Ability to float to multiple hospital locations

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in evaluating and treating post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head & neck cancer patients
Proficient in acute inpatient and outpatient care settings
Strong clinical reasoning and independent decision-making skills
Familiarity with Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center protocols
