Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for orthopedic patients, focusing on upper extremity conditions such as shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence and quality of life
Collaborate with the rehab team including aides and supervisors to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute care settings
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs

Qualifications

Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license
BLS certification required
Experience with orthopedic upper extremity therapy including shoulders, elbows, and wrists
Ability to treat 12 patients per day in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic conditions and upper extremity rehabilitation
Proficiency with ReDoc documentation system and Meditech
Familiarity with lymphedema training is a plus
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
Patient-centered approach with a collaborative mindset
