Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) with rotating weekends, self-scheduling available

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to oncology PCU and MedSurg patients
Manage complex drips including chemotherapy, heparin, and cardizem
Monitor hemodynamic parameters such as CVP and arterial lines
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, social work, and educators
Float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed, ensuring continuity of care
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent PCU and oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome!
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Knowledge of ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, mixed-acuity unit
