Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic conditions to restore function and improve quality of life
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and evidence-based practice
Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance motor skills, cognition, and daily living activities
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff for coordinated care
Document patient progress accurately using Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification (required)
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers (we welcome you!)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
