Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 4x10-hour shifts (times may vary)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-precision radiation therapy using techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SRT, and proton therapy
Operate and calibrate linear accelerators including Trubeam and other treatment machines
Utilize EPIC and Aria for patient scheduling, treatment documentation, and imaging
Collaborate with radiation oncologists and physicists to ensure accurate treatment delivery
Provide compassionate care and education to patients undergoing radiation treatment
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines

Qualifications

ARRT (T) certification in Radiation Therapy required
Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
Active Colorado state license or ability to obtain prior to start
Experience with EPIC and Aria software preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in external beam radiation (EBRT) and internal radiation therapy (IRT)
Expertise in treatment planning systems and imaging modalities including CT
Knowledge of a wide range of treatment techniques: 3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT, SRT, VMAT, brachytherapy, gamma knife, tomoTherapy
Ability to manage high patient volume (average 34 patients per day)
Strong communication and patient care skills
