Shift Type: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients with conditions such as CHF, diabetes, pneumonia, COPD, and post-operative recovery
Monitor telemetry and titrate intravenous drips including Heparin and Bumex as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, CNAs, and charge nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Float to other departments as a helping hand when needed

Qualifications

Current RN license in Oregon or ability to obtain an Oregon emergency license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year recent medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medical-surgical nursing skills including ventilator management, wound care, and telemetry interpretation
Proficient in medication administration and titration of drips
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and floating assignments
