Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a mixed unit of PCU, Oncology, and Med/Surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage IV therapy, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring
Titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dieticians
Perform hourly rounding and ensure excellent patient experience
Float to Med/Surg and PCU units as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU and Oncology
First-time travelers are welcome!
Must have BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification
EPIC experience preferred but not required (training available)

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and IV therapy
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Alaris IV pump operation
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment
