Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes while maintaining sterile field
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and midlevels to manage complex cases
Monitor and care for premature infants, cardiac defects, genetic disorders, and surgical patients
Participate in SIMs Lab training and demonstrate competency in nursing skills

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required
Previous travel experience preferred
Must be a team player with strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in NICU care including prematurity, cardiac conditions, and genetic disorders
Proficiency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Knowledge of sterile field maintenance and infection control
Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry
Certifications: BLS, NRP, Cardiac STABLE
