Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and telemetry needs
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips and telemetry readings
Titrate IV drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team for patient management
Manage patient assignments with ratios of 1:4-5, adjusting for acuity

Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 1 year PCU/telemetry experience preferred
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms independently
First-time travelers welcome to apply
EPIC experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm interpretation and strip reading
Telemetry monitoring and equipment
IV drip titration for cardiac medications
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
