Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and minimal microbiology/serology
Operate and maintain advanced lab equipment like Abbott Architect, Stago, Beckman Coulter DxH, and more
Ensure accurate and timely test results to support patient diagnoses
Follow all safety and quality protocols to maintain lab standards
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care
Manage workflow efficiently in a fast-paced lab environment

Qualifications

Active California CDPH Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license (required)
Current BLS certification (required)
ASCP certification is optional but a plus
Experience with chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coag, and minimal micro/serology
Proficiency with LIS systems, especially Cerner

Education

Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with a variety of lab instruments and methodologies
