Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every 3rd weekend, holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and analysis
Conduct EKG tests
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies
Manage ventilators (PB980, Hamilton C1) and BiPAP/CPAP
Provide respiratory care for patients of all ages (0-100)
Work independently as the only RT in-house on shifts
Collaborate with hospitalist/intensivist team

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at time of submission
CRT or RRT certification (RRT preferred)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS and NRP certifications preferred
Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Ability to work independently and handle a variety of patient ages
Previous travel experience not required, but a sense of adventure is welcome!

Knowledge & Skills

Independent critical thinking and decision-making
Proficient in Meditech EMR
Knowledge of PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 BiPAP equipment
Skilled in performing ABGs and EKGs
