Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible block scheduling, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Facilitate early mobilization for acute medical, surgical, and orthopedic patients
Determine mobility status and assess safety for discharge or transfer to rehab
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including COTAs and nursing staff
Provide expert care in ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg units

Qualifications

Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient experience preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of 8-10 patients daily

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical evaluation and treatment planning skills
Experience with early mobilization and discharge planning
Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
