Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in the ED, MedSurg, and Swing Bed units
Monitor telemetry and titrate drips as needed for acute patients
Serve as charge nurse and float to ED holds when required
Collaborate with a close-knit team in a 22-bed facility
Ensure safe patient ratios of 1:4 acute, 1:6 swing bed

Qualifications

At least one year of MedSurg nursing experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must not have worked as permanent or PRN at CHS within the last 12 months
Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in MedSurg and ED nursing skills
Experience with telemetry and rhythm interpretation
Skill in titrating common drips
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced swing unit environment
