Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (days) or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (nights), 3 days per week including weekends; self-scheduling after first schedule; weekend rotation: night shift Fri/Sat, day shift Sat/Sun; limited to no time off requests.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow by assigning beds to appropriate units based on clinical needs and bed availability.
• Use critical thinking to evaluate bed requests and adjust placements to ensure patient safety and optimal care.
• Communicate effectively with charge nurses, leadership, and ED staff via phone, chat, and multiple applications.
• Utilize TeleTracking and Cerner systems to manage real-time bed status and patient assignments.
• Work with three screens and multiple platforms to monitor and place patients across up to three hospitals.
• Document and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors for resolution.

Qualifications

• Active RN, LVN, or CNA license in Arizona (or compact state)
• Recent acute care experience (2+ years preferred; recent long-term care experience acceptable if last 2-3 assignments not SNF)
• Experience with TeleTracking and Cerner required
• Strong computer proficiency, including Google Apps and Zoom
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and customer service skills
• Must pass a Dyslexia exam (Relias Dys exam) within 24-48 hours of offer

Knowledge & Skills

• Acute care knowledge and understanding of different unit types (e.g., MedSurg, Telemetry)
• TeleTracking bed management system
• Cerner electronic medical record

• Strong verbal and written communication
