Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to a diverse patient population in a combined ICU, PCU, and medical-surgical unit
• Monitor and titrate vasoactive, sedative, and insulin drips to maintain patient stability
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and perform 12-lead EKGs to detect changes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Float to other units as needed to maintain competency and support hospital needs
• Respond to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year ICU plus 1 year PCU/Med Surg in a large facility
• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% within two attempts
• Strong skills in titration, telemetry, and critical thinking

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in caring for ICU, PCU, and medical-surgical patients
• Proficiency in managing sedation, vasopressors, and insulin drips
• Excellent cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
