Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery patients
Titrate medications including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin drips as needed
Collaborate with a small nursing team to manage fluctuating patient volumes and acuity
Maintain independence in all areas of care, serving as backup for fellow RNs
Float to other units as a helping hand when needed

Qualifications

Valid Oregon RN license (or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license)
BLS and NRP certifications required
Experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, and intermediate nursery care
Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Proficiency in titrating IV drips such as Pitocin and magnesium sulfate
Excellent communication and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
