Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day or Night shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM; every third weekend, possibly every other

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to laboring and postpartum patients
Circulate in the operating room during C-sections
Perform thorough newborn assessments and routine baby care
Titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Float to postpartum unit as needed, caring for both mom and baby
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of OB techs, CRNAs, and physicians
Handle high-risk obstetric cases with confidence and compassion

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Ability to circulate in the OR for C-sections
Competency in newborn assessment and baby care
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in high-risk OB care and routine obstetrics
Proficiency in drip titration for Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and pain medications
Familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring (Obix system)
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to float to postpartum and other units
