Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and delivering mothers, including high-risk patients
Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and fetal monitoring interpretation
Circulate and recover C-section patients in the OR
Titrate drips such as Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum unit as needed to support couplet care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1-2 years of recent L&D experience preferred
Must be independent and confident in high-risk labor and delivery scenarios

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring and EFM (Cerner)
Skilled in vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and high-risk OB care
Experience with C-section circulating and recovery
Ability to titrate critical drips effectively
Comfortable floating to postpartum and other units as needed
