Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating on-call and alternating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist Interventional Radiologists with imaging-guided invasive procedures including paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, and drainages
Coordinate the IR physician schedule and communicate with floor nurses and imaging technicians
Monitor patients undergoing sedation and manage hemodynamic status
Place peripheral IVs and assist with pacemaker insertions
Work collaboratively with CT, MRI, US, and Nuclear Medicine staff to ensure seamless patient care
Support both inpatient and outpatient populations, including pediatric patients when needed

Qualifications

Current California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Cerner EMR and MRI Safe Pumps
Skilled in EKG monitoring and moderate sedation administration
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Knowledge of radiology procedures and patient preparation
