Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (0630-1830 days, 1830-0630 nights), every other weekend, minimum 2 holidays during contract

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to a diverse ICU patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation as needed
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips with GE monitor technology
Collaborate with a dedicated team including nurse aides and respiratory therapists
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience preferred
Comfortable with open-book exams during orientation (90% pass rate required)
Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating common critical care drips
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Team player with excellent communication abilities
