Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (day/night), 06:30 - 18:30 or 18:30 - 06:30, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips as ordered
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips using GE monitors
Manage ventilators and wean patients from respiratory support
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed with appropriate patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license (compact accepted)
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must be willing to take an open-book exam during orientation (90% to pass)
Driver's license required to verify 50-mile radius rule
No artificial nails allowed in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ICU nursing including drip titration and ventilator management
Proficient in telemetry interpretation and documentation
Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
Ability to self-schedule and adapt to rotating shifts
