Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Flexible 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, to be discussed during interview; plus weeknight call (1-2 nights per week) and weekend call (about every 3 weekends)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy
Handle complex equipment such as ultrasound processors, balloon catheters, and electrocautery tools
Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of endoscopes following SGNA standards
Collaborate with physicians to ensure safe and efficient patient care during endolumenal surgeries
Circulate and scrub in for a variety of GI procedures, providing expert support

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum 2 years of experience in GI lab or endoscopy
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong circulating and teching skills for advanced procedures
Ability to pass a comprehensive orientation exam with 90% or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ERCP, EUS, EMR/ESD, and enteroscopy techniques
Knowledge of endoscopic equipment and reprocessing
Familiarity with SGNA standards and manufacturer guidelines
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
