Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced Emergency Room
• Perform thorough patient assessments, including triage and monitoring for acute conditions such as trauma, stroke, sepsis, and cardiac events
• Interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to life-threatening changes
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas (or compact state) - we'll help with licensure if needed
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (or ENTC) certifications required
• Ability to work self-scheduled 12-hour shifts and float to units you are qualified for

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing, patient assessment, and critical thinking
• Proficiency in ECG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Experience with Paragon EMR system
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing patient needs
