Location: Bryan, Texas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday; every other weekend and rotating holidays required.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Perform rapid, thorough assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced Level III Trauma Center
Manage critical drips, ventilators, and advanced cardiac life support with confidence
Collaborate with a dedicated team of physicians, mid-levels, and techs in a supportive environment
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed, expanding your experience
Participate in trauma resuscitations, stroke alerts, and STEMI activations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience in a similar volume and trauma level setting
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Must pass an Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (83%) before contract start (3 attempts allowed)
Comfortable with central line placement, MTP, chest tubes, and caring for critically ill patients
Ability to float between campuses and work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing and critical care expertise
Advanced dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Trauma and stroke care protocols
Patient assessment and triage skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with EMR systems like PulseCheck or Picis
