Location: College Station, Texas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts: Day or Night start at 6:45 AM/PM; Midshifts start at 9, 11, 1, or 3. Every other weekend required.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population including pediatrics, cardiac, stroke, and trauma cases
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage common drips like pressors and sedation
Collaborate with physicians and mid-level providers in a fast-paced Level III trauma center
Perform EKGs, assist with procedures, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
Maintain patient safety and manage holds intermixed within the ER
Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation as part of the team

Qualifications

2 years of recent ER experience required
First-time travelers welcome!
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (83%) before signing contract
Ability to work in a Level III trauma and STEMI/stroke receiving center

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation
Experience with common ER drips (pressors, sedation)
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable caring for pediatric patients
Team player with excellent communication
