Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, potentially weekends as needed and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nutritional care across diverse units including telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU
Assess patient nutritional needs and develop personalized diet plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on therapeutic diets and lifestyle changes
Document all interventions accurately in Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Minimum one year of experience as a Registered Dietitian
Active Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field
Acute care hospital experience highly preferred
Current BLS certification (or willing to obtain)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy for low to moderate acuity patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage a high volume of patients across multiple units
