Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments using state-of-the-art equipment like Truebeam
• Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address questions to ensure comfort and understanding
• Position patients accurately for treatment, paying careful attention to lines, tubes, and support devices
• Verify treatment plans and perform port film exposures, making adjustments as directed by the physician
• Document treatment details and progress in electronic health records
• Collaborate with physicists, nurses, and support staff to provide seamless, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiography with certification in Radiation Therapy required; Bachelor's preferred
• Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license and ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred
• Truebeam/Aria experience preferred

Education

• Associate's degree in Radiography with certification in Radiation Therapy
• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy (preferred)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients and team members
• Ability to problem-solve and facilitate resolutions calmly and effectively
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to make independent decisions while adhering to protocols
