Roles & Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders and ensure safe, accurate dispensing for inpatient care
• Manage vancomycin, aminoglycoside, and anticoagulant dosing with clinical precision
• Provide pain consults and collaborate with care teams to optimize pain management
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, including sterile IV compounding and Pyxis checks
• Use DoseEdge, Pak Edge and Meditech EMR to verify and document medication activities
• Respond to emergency medication needs and maintain readiness for first doses/rapid response situations
• Champion medication safety initiatives and help improve unit workflows

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School (required)
• Licensed to practice Pharmacy in Missouri (MO) — required
• Minimum ~1 year of pharmacy experience (inpatient experience preferred)
• ACLS and BLS preferred
• NICU experience is a plus for candidates with neonatal exposure
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians and performing sterile IV compounding
• Comfortable using DoseEdge, Pyxis, Pak Edge and Meditech EMR

Education

• Degree from an accredited Pharmacy School
