Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a team of ICU nurses to provide exceptional patient care
Oversee daily unit operations, staffing, and patient assignments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
Mentor and develop nursing staff through coaching and education
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
BSN required; MSN preferred
Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience
Previous leadership or management experience is a plus
BLS and ACLS certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical knowledge of critical care and ICU protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proven leadership and team-building abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
