Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests across multiple departments including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control
• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture as needed (occasional phlebotomy)
• Enter and verify patient data in EPIC Beaker LIS system
• Review test results for accuracy and report critical values promptly
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide timely diagnostic information

Qualifications

• Must hold current MLT or MT (MLS) certification from a recognized agency (ASCP, AMT, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a generalist Medical Technologist
• Proficiency with EPIC Beaker LIS is required
• BLS certification recommended (may be required for patient contact)
• Ability to perform phlebotomy on rare occasions
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Adaptable to various lab departments and shifting priorities
