Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (shift negotiable); call: one weekday per week and one weekend per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries including open heart, TAVR, and endovascular procedures
Scrub in to assist with holding the heart and closing chest during open heart cases
Collaborate with surgeons and OR team to ensure safe, efficient patient outcomes
Monitor patient vitals and manage intraoperative needs
Document care accurately in Epic EMR
Participate in call rotation for weekday and weekend coverage

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience required
Open Heart and/or Endovascular experience required
Scrubbing experience preferred
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Epic EMR
Knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond within 30 minutes for call
