Roles & Responsibilities

Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Ensure compliance with departmental policies and standards of nursing practice
Utilize computer skills for clinical documentation and data entry
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

1 year of Long Term Care experience required
Active Alaska RN license required
BLS certification required
BSN preferred
Strong computer skills

Education

BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of long-term care nursing practices
Skilled in use of PC and clinical databases
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Compassionate patient-centered approach
