Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 36 hours per week, including 1 weeknight call and 1 weekend call per month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $97 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterizations, peripheral vascular interventions, and neuro interventions
Assist physicians during procedures by scrubbing and monitoring hemodynamics
Manage conscious sedation and monitor cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors
Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Rotate call for inpatient and emergent cases, 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification, Fluoro license, and BLS
Must have current cath lab experience
Comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips, and balloon pumps
RCIS or CCT will not be accepted

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy
Hemodynamic monitoring
Sterile technique
Radiation safety
Emergency protocols
