Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients during the overnight shift
Perform focused and ongoing patient assessments, intervene appropriately, and escalate changes in condition
Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, and advanced monitoring with accuracy and confidence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement safe care plans
Document care thoroughly and clearly in the patient record to ensure continuity
Support patients and families with clear, empathetic communication during critical moments

Qualifications

Active RN license in California (required)
Current BLS certification; ACLS strongly preferred
Previous ICU or critical care experience preferred
Comfort with high-acuity patients, ventilator care, and vasoactive medication administration
Strong clinical judgment, prioritization skills, and ability to work independently on nights

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in critical care assessment and advanced monitoring
Experience with ventilator management and titration of vasoactive drips
Skilled in IV/central line care and hemodynamic monitoring
Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and families
Ability to triage, prioritize, and respond quickly in high-stress situations
Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
