Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients and residents
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support patient mobility and fall-prevention measures to keep people safe
• Document care and observations clearly in the patient record
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain infection control standards and a clean, safe environment

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and any required health screenings
• Comfortable working 12-hour daytime shifts and flexible per-diem availability
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Compassionate attitude and dedication to high-quality patient care

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Direct patient care and assistance with ADLs
• Measuring and reporting vital signs
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Infection control and safety protocols
• Patient mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
• Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
