Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC (overnight/night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in the rehab/acute area
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and report concerns promptly
- Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery
- Assist with patient mobility, ADLs, and rehabilitation activities as directed
- Follow facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current and active LPN license (required) for practice in New Mexico
- BLS/CPR certification (required) and other relevant certifications as applicable
- Comfortable and experienced working overnight shifts and per diem assignments
- Experience in rehabilitation, acute care, or long-term care is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Education
- Vocational nursing diploma or LPN certificate (required)
- Additional continuing education in rehabilitation or specialty care is a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Wound care and assistance with rehabilitation activities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
- Time management, prioritization, and patient-centered communication
