Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Support safe and clean patient environments by following infection control practices
• Document care given and patient observations accurately and timely
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in good standing (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable assisting patients with ADLs and basic bedside care
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-first attitude
• Prior experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer/mobility practices
• Infection prevention and hand hygiene standards
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic observation skills
• Clear, timely documentation and effective communication with care team
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
