Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients under the direction of nursing staff
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the nurse
• Support safe patient transfers and use appropriate body mechanics
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in California (required)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Comfort working overnight shifts and providing direct patient care
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new graduates encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, patient hygiene, and safe transfers
• Strong observational skills and accurate documentation
• Ability to follow care plans and direction from RNs/LPNs
• Compassionate bedside manner and excellent communication
• Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
