Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and promptly escalate changes in cardiac status
• Perform focused patient assessments and document findings clearly
• Administer medications and therapies according to facility policy
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education about cardiac conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active California licensure or eligible to practice in California
• Experience working in telemetry or cardiac monitoring environments
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred or able to obtain
• Comfortable with 12-hour day shifts and per-diem scheduling
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Active RN license required

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• IV medication administration and basic cardiac interventions
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Infection control and safety procedures
