Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients assigned during your shift
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care and clinical findings clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and critical situations
• Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Diploma in Nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking under pressure
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation
• Effective patient and family education techniques
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
• Collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
