Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to promote dignity and comfort
• Assist nursing staff with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the care team promptly and accurately
• Support mealtime and feeding needs, including documentation of intake when required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and their families
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential (VT or NH licensure appropriate for this posting)
• Able to work 12+ hour day shifts and commit to every-other-weekend coverage
• Demonstrated compassion, strong communication, and a team-first mindset
• Basic life support/CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar healthcare settings is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in providing ADL support and basic nursing assistance
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Good communication and bedside manner with patients and families
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately document care
• Teamwork, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
