Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents in line with LPN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document appropriately
• Perform routine assessments and report changes in condition to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver cohesive care
• Maintain clear, timely charting and follow facility policies and procedures
• Support safe infection control practices and a clean, therapeutic environment
• Participate in effective shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
• Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to facility schedules
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and clear communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow established care plans
• Prior experience in a similar long-term care or skilled nursing environment preferred

Education

• Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or LPN certificate

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic wound care knowledge
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Familiarity with charting and electronic health records
• Infection control best practices and safe patient handling
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
