Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and other ADLs safely
Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Maintain accurate patient documentation and communicate observations clearly
Follow infection control procedures and facility policies at all times
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
Help create a calm, respectful environment that promotes dignity and comfort

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant credential (CNA) — required
Valid authorization to work in California
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass background check and any required screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and measurement of vitals
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Ability to assist with mobility and safe patient transfers
Good documentation practices and attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with solid interpersonal skills
Time-management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
