Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and toileting assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately and promptly
- Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Document care activities clearly in the patient chart
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies at all times
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet health/immunization requirements
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in basic patient care, bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
