Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and personal assistance
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Take and document vital signs and report changes in condition
- Support safe patient mobility and transfers with proper technique
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient chart
- Collaborate with nurses and care team to deliver excellent care
- Uphold infection control practices and a safe care environment
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid work authorization to practice in California
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude
- Previous CNA experience preferred but motivated new CNAs encouraged to apply
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in patient hygiene and ADLs
- Ability to take and record vitals accurately
- Basic understanding of infection prevention and safety protocols
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with charting and basic electronic documentation
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
