Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the assigned shift
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and document changes clearly
• Administer medications and treatments safely according to policy
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate effective care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Report critical changes and escalate concerns to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus
• Clinical experience in acute care, ambulatory, or related settings preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on per-diem shifts

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and documentation accuracy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting best practices
• Patient education and discharge planning abilities
• Teamwork, adaptability, and time management during busy shifts
