Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients referred for physical therapy and perform appropriate tests and measurements based on diagnosis
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals, reassessing every six weeks or sooner as needed
• Provide one-on-one patient care using appropriate physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Deliver both outpatient and inpatient services, collaborating with hospital departments and medical staff
• Document patient progress thoroughly and timely to align with physician follow-ups and authorization needs
• Manage a schedule of 45-minute patient appointments every hour while maintaining high-quality care
• Share weekend and holiday inpatient coverage with fellow therapists to ensure continuous patient care

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of California
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Minimum of one year of PT experience preferred
• Strong ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, peers, and ancillary departments
• Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient caseloads and weekend/holiday rotation

Education

• Graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy
