Shift Type: Per diem (varied days), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping with daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility with dignity
- Take and record vital signs and report meaningful changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and fall prevention measures during every shift
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with teammates
- Help create a welcoming, clean and safe environment for residents
- Engage residents in conversation and activities to promote emotional well-being
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification in Maryland (or state-equivalent) required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks, drug screening and required immunizations
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED; GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and resident-centered approaches
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic nursing tasks
- Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
- Safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Basic charting and documentation skills; attention to detail
- Reliable time management and the ability to work independently when needed
